It was a brief but important meeting between the Public Independent Conciliator, Mme Telelen Dorothy Atabong spouse Motaze and the new  Station Manager of the South West Regional Station of the Cameroon Radio and Television  Nuwea Ben Modika, Friday 23 December 2023. Accompanied by the new station manager of Mount Cameroon Kolle George, the purpose of the maiden visit of the new boss of  CRTV South West Regional Station,  was to congratulate Mme the Public Independent Conciliator and encourage her for the work being done since the creation of the institution,  as well assure her of the State Broadcaster’s commitment to  accompany the institution.

Reacting to the statement of the station manager, OPIC’s boss expressed happiness to meet the new station manager. ‘I cannot do anything without your collaboration’ she told the CRTV regional boss. Describing the visit  as a wonderful privilege she stated that it was a good sign for 2023 and better days for the institution. On this note Mme the Public Independent Conciliator assured the CRTV regional head of OPIC’s support to enable the State broadcaster communicate on its activities whenever and wherever.

Asked about  his impression on OPIC , the senior  CRTV journalist said, as one of the main fall out of the Major National Dialogue,  it is a reminder that the days when the Anglo-Saxon culture use to take care of its own is back, its presence demonstrate the concrete work being done on the field.  As such the station manager reiterated his encouragement towards the Public Independent Conciliator and assure the institution of CRTV’s support to give visibility to its vision,missions and actions.

It is noteworthy that Nuwea Ben Modika was appointed and installed new Station manager of CRTV South-West on November 17 and 18 2022 respectively.
