As part of efforts to implement its missions, the Office of the Public Independent Conciliator has taken its sensitization campaign to the hinterlands of the Region. The institution on Monday 21 November 2022 dispatched some staffs to carry out sensitization in some localities in the Fako, Meme, Ndian and Kupe-Muanenguba divisions.  The purpose of the sensitization mission was to create awareness among grassroot populations about the existence of the institution and its missions.

In this regard, sensitization activities were carried out in Limbe II and Idenau in Fako, Kumba I, II and III in Meme, Mundemba  Isangele and Ekondo-Titi in Ndian, Tombel and Bangem in Kupe-Muanenguba division. During their stay in these localities, the staff of OPIC braved the difficult security situation to explain and distribute flyers on the missions of the Office of the Public Independent Conciliator. While inhabitants of these localities were happy to know about the existence of such an office mandated to work for the improvement of quality service delivery in their local councils, they expressed the wish to see the institution come closer to them.
